Peel Street is currently closed and residents have been told to stay in their houses while the investigation takes place.
Kimberley Jade, who lives on Peel Street, said: “I was driving home from hospital and went to drive into the street when the police told me to take the long route road.
“I got home, looked out of the bedroom window and I could see the incident in front of my house with a line of around 30 police officers stood around it.
“It’s quite scary actually.”
Update: Forensic investigators have now arrived at the scene of the incident as Peel Street remains closed.
