Nottingham’s branch of Inferno pizza has re-opened its doors with a brand-new name and a pristine new look, following a £250,000 investment.
The create your own pizza restaurant, which opened on Milton Street two years ago, will now be known as Pizzastorm.
The brand also has restaurants in Newcastle and London, but the Nottingham outlet will be its flagship store.
“There’s two reasons why we chose Nottingham as our flagship store,” explains Paul Reynolds, who is the head of Pizzastorm.
“Nottingham is a place that has a lot of branded experience going on already and we know it works for them, so we thought we should try it ourselves.
“Also, the student base is really important for us because the student demographic really suits our offer in terms of the creating your own pizza and the amount of choice that we have.”
Customers will certainly have an array of choice too, with over 50 toppings available to choose from or alternatively, the option to pick from an original set menu, which even includes an all day breakfast pizza.
For manager Marta Warren, the re-opening has been a resounding success after seeing the restaurant closed for a month to undergo its rebranding.
“It’s been a relief to get back open because I missed my restaurant, but we’ve had so much positive feedback, it’s been great, people love it,” she said.
“They love the new design and the fact that they can have separate space for themselves or even just sit by the window and enjoy a drink, so they come in and spend quality time with each other in different ways.”
After the re-opening, the brand will be hoping that Pizzastorm can continue the success that Inferno started in Nottingham.
