This week sees singer-songwriter and multiple Grammy Award winner Ed Sheeran stop off at Nottingham for his third world concert tour, titled ‘÷’ Tour.

Ed, who has toured arenas twice previously in the UK, will perform at the Motorpoint Arena on 25 and 26 April.

A presale for the tour on 31 January saw tickets sell out in minutes, as did they did in the actual sale on 2 February, leaving many fans frustrated.

On Twickets, the official resell partner for the tour, some lucky supporters were able to buy unwanted tickets at face-value, but tickets for tonight’s show are now selling at around £200 per head on secondary agent websites such as Viagogo.

Ed impressed his legion of fans during his UK performances so far, with supporters praising his “outstanding”, “breathtaking” and “ridiculously good” stage presence at Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin.

Supported by Anne-Marie, who viewers described as “sassy as ever” and “so fun”, Ed sang chart-toppers such as ‘The A Team’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ and told fans to “be uncool” and “make up the words if you don’t know them”.

Excitement is building today amongst fans who managed to snatch up a ticket to see Ed in Nottingham tonight or tomorrow, with fans offering to take Ed for a drink after the show, making last minute pleas for tickets and posing with the ‘÷’ tour bus ahead of tonight’s performance.

‘It’s In Nottingham’ has even published a list of the top 6 places to eat and drink in Nottingham for Ed Sheeran fans, based on some of Ed’s biggest hits.

But we think you should honour Ed’s renowned Nando’s Skank rap and devour some pre-concert flame-grilled chicken at one of Nottingham’s four Nando’s restaurants.

Doors are set to open at 6pm with Ryan McCullen taking to the stage at 7pm and Anne-Marie following at 7:30pm.

The man himself is set to start his performance at 8:30pm for an approximately two hour set.
