Queues of make-up addicts lined Bridlesmith Gate for the opening of Nottingham’s first Urban Decay store last week.
The cosmetic wonderland opened on Thursday, December 1 and offered the first 10 customers a free Naked Palette each.
The all-new store is the first of its kind to open in the East Midlands and is only the second to open in the UK outside of London.
Abigail May, 19, of Barrowby Gate, Grantham said: “I love Urban Decay, I usually buy higher end and more expensive products because they tend to last longer, so it’s great to have an alternative to shops like Mac.”
The store beauty products from a range of brands including over 100 shades of Vice Lipsticks which can be purchased at £15, and various Naked palettes priced at £38.50 each.
After just three days the Naked Vault range, priced at a hefty £245, had completely sold out.
Store Manager Emma Shakh said: “The Naked Vault gift set has been an absolute hit, which we didn’t expect because of its price, we even had to sell the one on display.”
