Four episodes in and Silicon Valley (HBO) is starting to take shape with more twists and turns than ever before.
For those unfamiliar with the unfiltered comedy drama it follows the story of introvert Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) as he walks away from the tech company he works for called Hooli in order to pursue his own data compression software called Pied Piper.
With his team of misfits including the excellent pot smoking entrepreneur Erlich Bachman (TJ Miller) he sets out to create his start-up company to battle the copycat company created by Gavin Belson (Matt Ross) CEO at Hendricks’ former employer.
Season three picks up after Richard Hendricks failed to convince the board of his company to keep him on as CEO and inside hire super tech CEO Jack Barker (Stephen Tobolowsky) demoting Hendricks to chief technology officer.
Like his other shows including the world famous Beavis and Butt-head director Mike Judge has created a no-holds-barred series that gives a rare insight into the thriving industry haven of Silicon Valley.
The show has managed to remain laugh-out-loud funny past its first season and pairs it excellently with high intensity drama along the way.
So far season three does not disappoint.
Don’t be afraid of the complicated tech language and dive into one of the most bingeworthy shows out there at the moment.
