Leeds United boss Steve Evans is now a 6/4 favourite to take over at the City Ground next season.
The man who splits opinion all over the country with his eccentric ways has this time failed to impress with a poll revealing 84% of Forest fans don’t want the Scotsman anywhere near the club.
Evans is unlikely to get his contract renewed after a mostly inconsistent season, including a 1-0 loss at Elland Road against Forest which resulted in a barrage of boos from the Leeds faithful.
Other options for the Reds include fan favourite Martin O’Neil and ex-Derby County manager Nigel Clough. With O’Neil in a job with the Republic of Ireland and Clough enjoying success at Burton Albion, it’s highly unlikely that either will be stepping into the dugout any time soon.
