The Kooks will play to a sell-out crowd at Nottingham’s Rock City this Thursday.

After cancelling their previous gig, due to a family grievance, the indie rockers will be glad to finally get the show done and dusted.

The Brighton band are touring their newest album Listen, which is a far cry from their early albums, showcasing a more pop orientated sound.

It will be the final night celebrating 35 years at Rock City after a streak of popular bands played throughout December, including The Enemy and Reverend and The Makers.

The Kooks are expected to be on stage from 9pm.
