Cuba soul is coming to the heart of Nottingham as a brand new rum bar and cantina opens its doors next month.
Revolución De Cuba will provide the food, drink and culture of the Caribbean island nation to the Nottinghamshire community on December 18/19 at 26-28 Market Street, Hockley.
The Nottingham restaurant will be the latest addition to the Latin-themed chain which has five other premises across the UK in Cardiff, Derby, Manchester, Norwich and Sheffield.
Bar assistant, Reece Collen, 19, is one of the new recruits who will be serving at the Hockley site and said he was looking forward to working there: “I’ve never worked in a place like this before, so I’m excited to see what it’s like, the menu looks interesting and I’m a fan of Caribbean food.”
The drinks menu features an array of exotic cocktails and spirits, whilst food-lovers will expect the passion and heritage of typical Cuban dishes such as chimichanga chicken, paella and pulled pork burritos.
Diners can enjoy a lunchtime meal, or an evening feast with the fittingly-named cocktails, Mexican Breakfast, Miami Vice and Jamaican Me Crazy.
