One of the most popular cocktails, a long island iced tea

This week marks the first ever Nottingham Loves Cocktails event, a seven day long festival that encourages lovers of fine spirits and punchy tastes to visit the best of what the city has to offer.

The festival, which originally began in Manchester in 2013, has teamed up with 16 local venues to host a selection of events.

Priding itself on vibrancy and quirkiness, we’ve shared some of our favourite cocktail bars Nottingham has to offer.

If you don’t believe us, check them out for yourself!

2. Boilermaker

Where can you find it? 36 Carlton Street, NG1 1NN

One of Nottingham’s best kept secrets. Walking into this underground city bar, you’d think you were walking into a tiny boiler shop. But open the doors and a kooky place, serving cocktails from cereal boxes and unique shaped glasses, it’s the perfect wind-down for any night of the week.
